Amid the feuding rumors between Nicola Peltz and her husband, Brooklyn Beckham’s mother, Victoria Beckham, one of her almost-wedding planners, Preston Bailey, finally broke his silence over the much-talked-about wedding. Despite the bridezilla claims, he said the actress was actually great.
Bailey, a known wedding guru behind Donald and Melania Trump’s wedding, was the first planner Peltz hired for her wedding to Brooklyn. However, six months before the wedding, she had to hire another planner.
Bailey was hired in April 2021 but had to step down in March 2022 after 11 months into the job and half a year before the wedding occurred. He said he was overbooked then and couldn’t handle extravagant ceremonies like the Peltz and Beckham wedding.
He told Page Six that he was overcommitted and couldn’t deliver the great service he used to. But despite the rumors surrounding the then-bride-to-be, he had nothing but good words for the Peltzes and Nicola herself.
In spite of his exit, there was no bad blood between them. He called her family lovely people, revealing they are important to him.
Nicola was great, he continued. Though he didn’t manage to work on their wedding, he pulled off their engagement party.
Meanwhile, the news comes on the heels of Victoria and Peltz shutting down their feuding claims. She shared a post on her 28th birthday on January 9, greeting her with a happy birthday and hoping she had a lovely day.
The Bates Motel star returned the love and thanked her mother-in-law. The greetings came after months of speculations about their relationship, which started after her wedding to her son.
However, Nicola herself squashed the claims when she praised Victoria and David Beckham in an interview with Grazia, via E! News, saying her in-laws are great. She then cleared the rumors about the alleged drama surrounding her wedding dress.
Allegedly, she was about to wear a gown designed by Victoria herself but ended up donning a Valentino wedding dress. Nicola explained she really planned to wear a wedding dress made by the former Spice Girls member and was even excited to do so, thinking it would be beautiful and a lovely story.
However, Victoria had to call her daughter-in-law’s mom, Claudia Heffner Peltz, to say that the dress couldn’t be made. Hence, they were left with no choice but to choose another designer dress, which was Valentino, considering Nicole had been a long-time fan.
