Royal Family Reportedly Plans To Give Prince Harry Meghan MarklerGtXT 1

It has been said time and over again that Prince Charles wants his youngest son, Prince Harry, at his coronation on May 6. So, to make it happen, the royal family reportedly plans to give the Duke of Sussex some incentives to have him and his wife, Meghan Markle, attend the event.

Allegedly, these incentives include high-profile seating at the crowning and a promise that Prince Harry and Meghan will get to keep their royal titles. So, will this happen even if the Sussexes drop their controversial Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, and the prince’s memoir, Spare?

A source told The Mail on Sunday that the duke’s camp cleared the idea of him attending the event and behaving himself but still stripped of his title was a total non-starter. Though the time may come when he finally decides to remove the titles of his own accord, he refuses to be forcibly stripped of them.

The insider continued that he declines to be like his uncle, Prince Andrew, in the public’s mind, being dubbed as the two problems princes, considering their situation is far too different.

Allegedly, there are several options for how Prince Harry can attend the crowning. The Sun revealed that he could return to the U.K. for 48 hours while Meghan stays behind in California with their two kids, Archie and Lilibet.

However, Marie Claire noted it might be unlikely, considering May 6 also falls as Archie’s fourth birthday. Hence, it may be impossible for the Sussexes to be separated on that day, making it remains to be seen what will happen on that day.

Meanwhile, despite reportedly not being a fan of having his brother at the coronation, Prince William is still willing to work in tandem with King Charles. Allegedly, he’s still upset at his sibling and sister-in-law due to their claims that they were at odds with His Majesty’s desire to have them at the event.

The Duke of Cornwall’s friends said he was burning inside over Prince Harry’s disloyalty. But despite that, a source said that the palace considered holding talks with the former senior royal.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Express that he would be personally surprised if Prince William didn’t work with King Charles to ensure Prince Harry and Meghan would come. As this move already worked during the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022 and her funeral in September of the said year, it might work again this time.
